《문을 만드는 일》은 일상 속 익숙한 대상들을 ‘문’의 개념으로 재해석하며, 현실과 상상을 잇는 통로로 제시한다. 룸미러, 컵, 심장, 돋보기와 같은 대상들은 현실의 잔상으로부터 출발해 상상의 기호로 변모하고, 세라믹과 3D프린트 등 다양한 재료 위에 드로잉 애니메이션이 투사되며 물질과 영상이 교차하는 지점을 드러낸다. 그 순간, 그들은 본래의 쓰임과 의미에서 벗어나 낯선 시간과 감정의 층위를 획득하고, 또 하나의 세계로 이어지는 문이 된다. 이 전시는 그러한 전이와 변환의 과정을 통해, 세계의 균열과 그 사이에서 피어나는 감정의 진동을 탐색한다.

《Making a Door》 reinterprets familiar everyday objects through the concept of the “door,” presenting them as passages that connect reality and imagination. Objects such as a rear-view mirror, a cup, a heart, and a magnifying glass begin as afterimages of the real and transform into signs of the imagined, while drawing animations are projected onto materials including ceramics and 3D prints, revealing the intersection between matter and moving image. In that moment, they slip free from their original functions and meanings, acquiring unfamiliar layers of time and emotion, and becoming doors that open onto another world. Through these processes of transition and transformation, the exhibition explores the fractures of the world and the emotional tremors that emerge in between.
