〈르 코르뷔지에: 빌라 사보아의 찬란한 시간들〉 출간을 기념, 세계적인 일러스트레이터 장-필립 델롬의 원화를 만날 수 있는 동명의 전시이다. 유명 건축물의 건축사적 가치에 가려져 잘 알려지지 않았던 건축주 가족과 빌라 사보아를 지키고자 애써 온 이들에 대한 이야기로 한 건축물이 걸작으로 탄생하는 과정을 조명하며, 삶의 터전으로서의 집을 통해 아름다운 추억을 회상한다.

책에 실린 15여 점의 원화 외 가구 브랜드 비트라와 협업하여 빌라 사보아를 배경으로 그린 10여 점이 추가로 선보여진다. 또한 빌라 사보아의 안과 밖을 담은 사진과 ‘건축적 산책’을 가능하게 하는 영상, 작가 장-마크 사보아가 들려주는 빌라 사보아에 관한 인터뷰, 건축주와 건축가가 주고받은 서신 등의 자료들을 공개하며 책 속 내용을 더 확장하여 경험할 수 있게 한다.

This exhibition, of the same name as the book 〈Le Corbusier: The Glorious Times of Villa Savoye〉, celebrates the book’s release and presents original illustrations by world-renowned illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhom. Beyond the architectural significance for which the building is famous, the exhibition sheds light on the stories of the Savoye family and those who strived to preserve Villa Savoye, highlighting the process through which a house becomes a masterpiece and evoking beautiful memories of home as a living space.
