4월 11일(목)부터 29일까지 안상범 작가님의 개인전 ⟪오버핏OVERFITTING⟫을 개최합니다.
안상범 작가는 영상작업을 통해서 인간과 비인간, 생태와 기술, 그리고 인지 가능한 것과 이해를 넘어서는 것 사이의 모호한 교차점을 탐구하고 있습니다. 그의 작업은 다큐멘터리를 기반으로 허구와 우화, 에세이, 컴퓨터 생성 영상과 같은 다양한 형식을 중첩하여 다큐멘터리의 객관적 속성을 전복시키고 즉각적으로 파악할 수 없는 너머의 것을 확장하여 가시화하며 이를 통해 기술매체가 세계를 투사하는방식과 인간 중심적 사유의 한계에 대해 질문합니다.
From Thursday, April 11 to April 29, we will present artist Ahn Sangbeom’s solo exhibition ⟪OVERFITTING⟫.
Ahn Sangbeom explores the ambiguous intersections between the human and the nonhuman, ecology and technology, and what is cognitively graspable and what lies beyond understanding through his video works. By layering diverse formats—such as fiction, fable, essay, and computer-generated imagery—upon a documentary foundation, his practice subverts the objective qualities of documentary and expands and visualizes what cannot be immediately perceived. Through this, he questions the ways in which technological media project the world and the limitations inherent in human-centered thought.
